The Idaho Community
Catalyst Award honors the contributions of exceptional Idahoans who, with no thought to personal
recognition, have invested their time, passion, and energy to strengthen and
sustain the nonprofit organizations that make Idaho communities richer for
everyone through their advocacy for social and environmental justice. The
dedication of these unsung heroes furthers
the vision of a just, compassionate and environmentally healthy Idaho respectful

Seventy-five people attend celebration for Ed Keener as he receives the 2010 Nelle Tobias Award for Philanthropy!
On June 19,seventy-five
Boise progressives gathered at St. Michael's Bishop Tuttle House to
honor Ed Keener as he received the 2010 Nelle Tobias Award for
Philanthropy. Ed has long been a community leader, activist for social justice, and philanthropist. His work with the Interfaith Sanctuary, the Kessler-Keener Extraordinary Witness Lecture Series,
his long term stewardship of his home and land, combined with his many
other philanthropic efforts make him a perfect example for the rest of
us. Together with his wife Martha, Ed has truly made Idaho a better
place for us all. We're all in this together!
Reception for 2010 Camp Wellstone participants attended by 44 activists!
Forty-four activists and concerned citizens from around the state met
and mingledat the reception for Camp
Wellstone on May 22nd. Papa Joes's hosted the event, which was a great opportunity
to make new friends and renew old connections on our path toward
justice for
all. Participants
had the opportunity to network and get acquainted in a relaxed
atmosphere with beer, pizza, and tapas. A good time was had by all!

Beginning Anew Party on January 9th at the home of Chris and
Karen
Meyer. This party celebrated the conclusion of another
successful
year of transforming work by our grantees and

dreams and strategized over how this work will make Idaho an

greater place to live for future generations.
